Is it necessary to have an account to purchase genuine Parts on MSGP Website?

If you would like to search for Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts on the website and view their details, a user account is not required. However, if you wish to place an enquiry on the MSGP website, then it is necessary to first register yourself with your mobile number via an OTP, and then you will be able to purchase genuine parts on the MSGP website.

How can I place an enquiry?


SEARCH: To place an enquiry, search for and select the desired Maruti Suzuki genuine part you are looking for.

The following search options are available:

  1. By Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Registration number
  2. By Car- Select the Model name, Make year and Variant from the drop-down list.
  3. You can type the name of the part in the Search bar to find the desired part.
  4. You can also search the parts via the Categories tab.
  5. By Part number

ADD TO CART: Select the desired part, view its details and then ‘Add to Cart’.

SELECT ENQUIRY TYPE: During checkout, you can choose from the following two types of Enquiries:

  1. Purchase & Installation Enquiry - For purchase of Maruti Suzuki genuine parts and getting them installed at your preferred Dealer Workshop (Extra service charges apply).


  2. Purchase Enquiry - For purchase of Maruti Suzuki genuine parts from Distributor Outlets without the option of the fitment of the parts.


SUBMIT: After submitting the enquiry, a ‘Thank You’ message pop-up will appear on the screen, stating ‘Your enquiry has been submitted!’. You will also get an SMS and an email confirming the Enquiry Details on the successful submission of the query. 

How do I find my existing enquiry details and status?

To check your existing Enquiry details/status, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the profile icon in the top right-hand corner of the page.
  2. Select the ‘Product Enquiries’ tab from the drop-down list.
  3. The resulting page will show all the enquiries submitted by you.

Can I modify an enquiry or order that I have placed?

Yes, all the enquiries placed on the MSGP website can be modified at the point of sale only.

To modify ‘Purchase & Installation Enquiry’, you will have to inform the Dealer representative at the Dealer workshop chosen by you.

To modify ‘Purchase Enquiry’, you will have to contact the Distributor representative over a phone call or at the time of collecting the order from the Distributor Outlet for making any changes to the enquiry.

How quickly can I get my enquiry resolved?

Maruti Suzuki ensures that every customer enquiry is resolved in as little time as possible. The Dealer Representative/Distributor will first contact the customer within 2 hours of receiving the enquiry and based on the customer’s convenience, such enquiries will be fulfilled at the preferred outlet.

If a part is not in stock, will I be provided with delivery timelines?

If you are looking for a Maruti Suzuki genuine part and it is not in stock, you will get a response indicating likely delivery timelines from the preferred Dealer/Distributor outlet.

What is the difference between ‘Purchase & Installation Enquiry’ and ‘Purchase enquiry’?

‘Purchase & Installation Enquiry’ should be placed when you want to purchase a Maruti Suzuki spare part and get it installed in your vehicle at one of Maruti Suzuki’s authorized Dealer Workshops. These Enquiries are fulfilled by the Dealer chosen by the customer.

‘Purchase Enquiry’ should be placed for the purchase of Maruti Suzuki spare parts without the option of fitment of the parts. These Enquiries are fulfilled by the Distributor Outlet chosen by the customer.

A part that I wish to buy is not listed on website. Is there any way I can place an enquiry for such parts?

If a part is not listed on the website, you can raise a query through the contact form that appears during zero results.

Or you can simply go on https://www.marutisuzuki.com/genuine-parts/query/abc and raise your enquiry.

Can I cancel an enquiry/order that I have placed?

Yes, any kind of enquiry placed on the Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts website can be cancelled by contacting the preferred outlet.

The processing of my enquiry/order is delayed. What should I do?

At MSGP, we ensure that customer requirements are promptly fulfilled. In case of any issues, please get in touch with the preferred outlet.

In case of any further delays, please visit the ‘Write To Us’ section on the Customer Care page on our website and submit the details. You can access the Customer Care page by clicking on the profile icon at the top right-hand corner of page.

What does MSGP mean and what are the different brands offered under MSGP?

MSGP stands short for Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts.

Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts (MSGP), Suzuki Genuine Parts (SGP) and Ecstar brand products are sold in the Parts category.

How do I assure that my part is genuine?

All the spare parts sold via Maruti Suzuki authorized Dealer Workshops and Distributor Outlets are genuine parts.

However, if you still wish to verify the genuineness of the parts, you can refer to the MRP label which has a QR code on it. This QR code can be scanned using the Scan and Assure Mobile App for verification.

How to raise query/complaint?

You can raise a query/complaint through the ‘Write to Us’ Section on the MSGP website.

By clicking on the profile icon at the top right corner of the page, a drop-down list will be shown. Select the ‘Customer Care’ tab from this list which will direct you to the ‘Write to Us’ page.

How can I return Parts?

Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts installed under the ‘Purchase & Installation Enquiry’ do not require returns as these parts are installed/fitted in the workshop under technician supervision.

Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts bought under ‘Purchase Enquiry’ will have to be returned to the same Distributor Outlet from where they were purchased.

What is standard installation & will I be charged for it? Is installation offered for all products?

Installation services will be offered on all Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts listed on the website that are bought under ‘Purchase & Installation Enquiry’. The installation will be done by trained personnel at the Dealer Workshops who will follow standard Maruti Suzuki Service. Extra charges for the installation will be applicable and the same will be communicated to the customer by the Dealer representative.

Can someone else collect an order on my behalf from the Retail Outlet?

Yes, your order can be picked up by someone else on your behalf. The person coming for the pickup should have the Enquiry details.
