 • Can I buy a BS4 car on or after 1st April 2020?

The straightforward answer to that would be NO. That’s because no BS4 car can be registered from April 1st 2020.

 • But why should I prefer a BS6 car over a BS4 car?

Well, the move to BS6 emission norms is a stringent and unprecedented one to help reduce vehicular emissions across the country. Maruti Suzuki BS6 cars come with upgraded engine hardware and exhaust system that helps reduce Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) emissions by 25%.
