  • Service Activated Power Plus Warranty is an extended protection program for Maruti Suzuki vehicles that covers Engine, Transmission, and Electrical systems from the 6th year up to the 10th year of ownership, activated along with periodic servicing

  • As your car gets older, repair costs for major components can increase. This warranty helps protect you from high repair expenses and ensures peace of mind during long‑term ownership.

  • The warranty covers high-value and critical systems such as the Engine* (including Mechanical, Fuel and Lubrication systems), Transmission* (including MT, AT and AMT), and Electrical systems* (including Motors, all Sensors and Control modules).

    * Item list is indicative only and non-exhaustive. It highlights major components for ease of understanding.

  • Each activation provides coverage for 1 Year or 12,000 km, whichever comes earlier. You can renew it annually during eligible services until your car completes 10 years.

  • This warranty can only be purchased along with an eligible Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) at a Maruti Suzuki authorised workshop. Please contact your Service Advisor during the service to purchase it.

  • No. The renewed warranty will start after the expiry of the current SAPW policy, ensuring continuous protection.

  • Yes. The warranty is valid at all authorised Maruti Suzuki service workshops across India.

  • Your vehicle is eligible if:

    • It is more than 5.5 years old
    • You are coming for PMS 60, PMS 70, PMS 80, or PMS 90
    • Your vehicle clears the Vehicle Health Card (VHC) and Diagnostic checks
  • No. The warranty can only be purchased along with an eligible periodic service (PMS) and before the service invoice is generated.

  • The warranty is activated automatically after your periodic service is completed, provided:

    • The service invoice is generated successfully
    • Vehicle health checks are clear

    Coverage starts from the next day of purchase.

  • The warranty does not cover:

    · Normal maintenance service requirements such as oil and fluid changes, headlight aiming, fastener retightening, wheel balancing, wheel alignment, injector cleaning, ignition timing, and clutch or valve clearance adjustments.

    · Replacement of normal wear-and-tear parts, including bulbs, battery, spark plugs, belts, hoses, filters (all types, with or without sensors), and brushes.

    · Seals and gaskets that are replaced or refitted as part of periodic scheduled maintenance.

    · Clutch-related components such as clutch disc and clutch pressure plate, as well as catalytic converter and muffler.

    · Replacement of belts, including timing belt, SHVS belt, alternator belt, compressor belt, water pump belt, and similar items.

    · Lithium-ion battery and Motor Generator Unit (MGU) for petrol vehicles.

    Parts not falling under the transmission, engine, or electrical subsystems, including head lamp, rear lamp, room lamp, fog lamp, and window regulator.

  • Yes, only if the service job card is cancelled on the same day, before the warranty start date.

    • 90% refund of the base warranty amount if cancelled before start date
    • No refund once the warranty has started

  • Yes. You can still purchase this warranty, provided your vehicle successfully clears the Vehicle Health Card (VHC) and diagnostic checks.

  • No. This warranty is exclusively available with periodic servicing, making it more affordable than standalone extended warranties.

  • Yes.

    • Extended Warranty applies earlier in vehicle life (0-6 years)
    • Service Activated Power Plus Warranty is designed specifically for post‑warranty vehicles (6–10 years) and is service‑linked
  • Yes. You can still purchase this warranty, provided your vehicle successfully clears the Vehicle Health Card (VHC) and diagnostic checks.
