FAQs on Maruti Suzuki Value Plus Package

  • The Maruti Suzuki Value+ Pack is a protection plan designed for vehicles between their 6th and 10th year of ownership. It provides coverage for major vehicle failures such as the engine, transmission, electrical components, hydrostatic lock, fuel adulteration and Rodent/Insect Bite for 1 year or 12,000 km, whichever comes first.

  • Vehicles that are at least 5.5 years old are eligible for the Value+ Pack, subject to a successful Vehicle Health Check (VHC) and diagnostic inspection.

  • The pack can be purchased only during scheduled periodic maintenance services PMS 60, PMS 70, PMS 80, and PMS 90, and before the service bill is generated.

  • The Value+ Pack remains active for 1 year or 12,000 km from activation, whichever occurs earlier.

  • The pack covers:

    • Engine Components Covered: Engine Mechanical, Engine Cooling system, Engine Lubrication system and Fuel Systems including failure due to Hydrostatic lock & fuel adulteration.
    • Transmission Components Covered: Automatic, Manual and AMT assembly , Drive Shaft and Differential.
    • Electrical Components Covered: All control modules, Infotainment System, sensors, harnesses, motors. including Rodent bite and insect entry.
  • Yes. The vehicle must pass both a Vehicle Health Check (VHC) and diagnostic inspection. Any identified defects must be repaired before the pack can be purchased.

  • If any required VHC or diagnostic parameters are found unsatisfactory, the issues need to be rectified first. The Value+ Pack can be purchased only after the vehicle meets the eligibility criteria.

  • Yes. An active Extended Warranty is not mandatory. Eligible customers can enroll after successfully completing the required vehicle health and diagnostic checks.

  • Yes. If the vehicle is sold while the plan is active, the coverage can continue for the new owner, helping enhance the vehicle's resale value.

  • The plan does not cover routine maintenance items, normal wear-and-tear parts, batteries, belts, filters, suspension, steering, brake systems, body parts, HVAC components, and several other exclusions specified in the terms and conditions.

  • No. Oil changes, fluid replacements, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, injector cleaning, spark plugs, hoses, bulbs, batteries, and other routine maintenance or wear-and-tear items are not covered.
