I recently purchased a second hand maruti 8 seater LPG from pre-owned car dealer (ABT Maruti Madurai). The vehicle performance is good.
I am not so good in driving. Particularly in town congessions where people don't have traffic sense, I feel this vehicle makes me to judge the road well since it has no bannet.
No one can be pretty sure of safety in this mad driving culture of our people. Intentional cuttings, interference, and bumps in the roads are very crucial in safety rather than our vehicle is having the so called crumble zone or not.
Hence people having town commutations and like to drive with family and friends can go safey on this vehicle
    Happy going.

Exterior No style statement. Just a box on wheels.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is average.
Ride Quality & Handling It can be easily maneuvered.
Final Words This was the first car in our family. We travelled a lot, driving across India, in this car. I would say that I prefer Omni to Maruti 800. It doesn't amount to very much, but it's ok when the price is taken into account.
Comfortable for 8 people to go at once but non ac makes it less comfortable. Seats cannot be pushed back. and engine below seats don't allow us to fit an ac.
there is no crumble zone on the front and the safety is very low in case of a head on collision. Less road grip especially while negotiating curves. Engine is placed below the front left seat and you can start feel like sitting on a stove if you are in the seat for more than one hour. The rear seats are best called as benches. The rear suspension is only leaf spring suspension which is normally used only in vans transporting goods! Don't forget there is no A/C
If you don't really require that much space, and give style some weightage though, you should opt for Tata Nano
Areas of improvement Comfort level is not that great for passengers. Should be improved upon. Higher models with air conditioning should be made available.

Look and StylelOmni has a ook which many would grade as downmarket no gadgets basic seats but comfy ergonomically.
    Comfort
PickupIf u have to drive in crowded city fine
    Mileage12 per km
Best FeaturesThe space & th sliding door which helps in small parking & loading unimaginable things---long rods, foll size mirrors, bags of various items, plants & pots, u name it.The height advantage is superb after this you will never ever feel like driving a sedan. Needs to improveSuspension ,ac, some doo-daas. I am now looking for a suv with same specifications -sliding door and ac, keyless entry, same ht but with bigger tyres and better suspension good space for four tall people. Overall Experiencei love my omni for space, ht, maneoverability. Review Link

    Hello every one,
I am expressing my review about this great car after using it for 1,00,606 kms!!it is a perfect family car with good space and reliability..
my father owns this wonderful car since 2004..we traveled many long journeys (in gujarat, rajasthan, maharashtra!!!) but still now we never found any issue on highway (exceptionally tyare punchers) my dad decorated it with awesome interiors..and made special sofa seats inside, which gives really an awesome comfort.
i salutes maruti, who made very very reliable vehicle such-which gives awesome comfort!
    # POSITIVE things :::
-very very specious! 8 person can easily travel with no stress (if u converts its seats in sofa, I bet u will forget INNOVA in comfort!!!)
-totally "0" maintenance vehicle..as my car clocked more than 1lac kms it needs just 4-5 thousands to spend on per year!
-very very cheap (my father bought it for just rs 2,60,000 on-road at 2004, now a days it’s just for 3,10,000!)
-very easy to handle in city traffic
    -all time available parts
-the most reliable vehicle now a days in india as per my view.
    #NAGATIVE things:::
    - no air-conditioner :(
    -image of a school-van, now a days!
    -safety issues
-a petrol vehicle which gives mileage of 10-13 kmpl....
i have an awesome experience with this vehicle.its just not a vehicle,it became our family member now..but as it getting old, my father is planning to buy fabia or a swift diesel very soon, and after that he is planning to sell this miracle,i hope I will convince him to do not sell my omni :(
    THANK YOU Review Link

I bought this car before a year. I learnt driving with this car. It was awsome. I learnt to my control my car within 2 days. eventhough I don’t have any knowledge in driving. Very easy to use. Good Interiors ’’equal to the money’’. good pickup. My OMNI is giving me about 18 - 20Kms in highway both in LPG and Petrol.
The matter is that we have to drive this car very safely. hence the Front portion is very near to the front seated persons.
The car will be under control if we drive below 80Km/h.
i used to handle upto 14persons. so, it also acts like a VAN too.

Good Braking system. check brakes frequenty for your safety.(all cars)
Very good spacing for family. ’’Nice car for Middle class people.’’
Low maintenance car. that suits middle class.
    Disadvantage:
    1. Non AC (Cooling won’t stay if fitted’’
    2. FOG during rain. so need to leave atleast one window open half.
    3. Bad name for the car. (All police will stop OMNI at all time)

My Review for OMNI: 9/10 (for middle class)
    For highclass: 2/10
For business : 10/10 Review Link
