    How long does it take to receive the car?

    The subscribed car delivery usually takes 15 days from the time of booking, subject to timely collection of documents, verification, and availability. You will be kept informed at all stages in the case of any changes or unforeseen delays.

    How much do I need to pay for Subscription ?

    Prices displayed on the website are inclusive of GST. You will need to pay a refundable security deposit, advance rental, and subscription booking amount initially, and then pay Subscription charges every month to continue with your Subscription.

    Are there any offers on Subscription charges?

    Offers change periodically. Prices mentioned on the website are indicative and the actual pricing at the time of invoicing will be applicable.

    For how long can I subscribe the car?

    Our Subscription tenures are flexible, and you can choose between a period of 12 , 24, 36 or 48 months.

    To whom will be the car registered to?

    Your Subscribed car will be registered in your name and leased by our Subscription partner & hypothecated to ORIX.

    What are the penalty charges for foreclosure and modification of tenure?

    The penalty charges on foreclosure and modification are subject to your request and the stage of the Subscription journey you place it at. Please refer to the Policy Document (Customer Agreement) and T&Cs carefully to know more about foreclosure matrix.

    Are the cars new?

    All the cars available on Maruti Suzuki Subscribe are brand new.

    Can I select the colour of my car?

    You have multiple car colours options to choose from, subject to the availability of the car and the colour.

    Do I need to be GST-registered?

    You are eligible to be a Subscriber with or without GST registration.

    What is Maruti Suzuki Subscription

    Subscription by MSIL is a 12,24,36,48 month Subscription program with an all-inclusive monthly payment. This payment includes the usage of the vehicle, maintenance and other common services related to vehicle usage. The offering will be fulfilled by a third party subscription partner which will also take care of the insurance coverage, roadside assistance.

    What do you mean by "Lock In Period"?

    Lock-in period means the fixed non-cancellation period during which you are not permitted to cancel the Subscription. Lock-in period for a 12, 24,36,48 month Subscription is 12, 12, 18 & 24 months, respectively.

    For how long can I subscribe a car?

    You can Subscribe to a car for 12, 24, 36 or 48 months, depending on your need.

    Can I extend my tenure?

    If you decide to extend the Subscription period while you are using the car, you will need to give prior written request of 30 days to our Subscription partner ORIX for the extension. Upon the receipt of this request, ORIX will ascertain the possibility of extension and make contact with you within 12 working days of the request. If ORIX confirms the availability of the vehicle for aforesaid extension, then you shall be required to pay revised reduced Subscription Fee as advised by ORIX for the additional term.

    What is included in Subscription?

    10000/15000/20000/25000 km per year coverage. Calculated at the end of tenure.

    How it Works

    When can I return the car? And what if I want to return my car within the usage period?

    The Lock-in period for a brand new car will be 12/12/18/24 months for a 12/24/36/48 month tenure respectively.

    Termination Charges:

    1. Before Lock-in period: Rentals for remaining months of Lock-in period + foreclosure penalty + Security Deposit + Processing Fee

    2. After Lock-in period: Foreclosure penalty As per foreclosure matrix

    3. In case you wish to exit in the middle of a month, the rental of the full month will still be charged.

    Can I terminate the Subscription after Lock in Period ?

    Yes, you can terminate the Subscription and surrender the car after Lock-in period by giving advance written notice of 30 days with minimal termination charges.

    Can I acquire the car from you after some months of use?

    Yes, you can buy back the vehicle. It is considered premature termination & hence you will need to pay the foreclosure amount. (foreclosure amount = book value + penalty + any outstanding charges + taxes)

    What if I want to change my car model after using it for some months?

    You can upgrade your vehicle at the end of your Lock-in period at the price and terms prevailing at that time.

    Booking

    How do I get started with Subscription ?

    You can start your Subscription online via the MSIL Website . Certain basic details will need to be fed in the online Subscription application form for the determination of your credit eligibility. Once the CIBIL check is done, processing fee of Rs. 1500 + GST will be charged. In the case of credit approval being declined, this processing fee will be refunded within 14 days after adjustment of taxes.

    Am I eligible?

    Yes, if you have a valid driving license & PAN card. Eligibility is determined by a number of different risk factors. Credit factors are also considered. We do accept joint applications where both applicants will need to qualify for the Subscription.

    How long will it take to get the car?

    The subscribed car delivery usually takes 15 days from the time of booking, subject to timely collection of documents and verification and subject to availability. You will be kept informed at all the stages in the case of any change or unforeseen delay.

    What if I want to cancel the booking after the payment on advance rental and Security Deposit?

    The Lock-in period for a brand new car will be 12/12/18/24 months depending on the chosen tenure, and hence all the outstanding rentals for 12/12/18/24 months will need to be paid.

    Do I need to be physically present for taking the delivery?

    Yes, the person whose driving license and ID proof was provided to us (while placing the booking) needs to be present for delivery. A checklist for the car needs to be signed at the time of taking the delivery of the car

    Payments

    What are the various modes of payments which I can use to pay the monthly rentals?

    e-NACH

    What do I need to pay to get the car?

    Processing Fee (Rs. 1500 + GST) + Security Deposit (one month rental) + One month advance rental. The Subscription Fee is inclusive of Goods & Services Tax (GST) and/or such other indirect taxes and cess.

    What do I need to pay while using the car?

    You will need to pay the Subscription Fee by the 1st of every month in advance, along with any charge caused by negligent driving and excess km charges (at the end of tenure), if any.

    When do I need to pay the monthly subscription fee?

    You will need to pay the Subscription Fee to ORIX on a monthly basis on or before 5th day of every month during Subscription period or additional term, as the case may be.

    How will payment work?

    We will set up an automatic debit mechanism on your bank account - this automatic debit will happen only as long as you are using the car. We will cancel the automatic debit once you return the car.

    What are the charges in case of damages?

    There are no charges in case of damages unless it is a case of negligent driving .

    What is negligent driving ?

    Any instance where the insurance company rejects paying for damages due to irresponsible driving comes under negligent driving. For e.g.: drunk driving, minor driving, driving without license at the time of mishap.

    What are the charges in case of late payment?

    For any delay in payment after due date, a penalty of 2% will be charged for subsequent 7 days of late payment. The car will be repossessed in case of any payment delay beyond 7 days from the due date. In such cases, any expenses incurred while returning the car will be borne by you.

    What about the insurance & disallowance ?

    Annual Insurance premium is paid by Orix for policy with zero depreciation cover and consumables covered.

    Claim Filing charges of the vehicle will be paid by the customer directly.

    Who will pay for tolls, parking, inter-state taxes & fines/challans ?

    All toll, parking, interstate taxes, and fines/challans will be borne by you. Fastag for the vehicle will be procured by ORIX, but recharge of Fastag will have to be done by you.

    Usage and Maintenance

    Can I share my car with someone and split costs ?

    Yes, of course! Please treat it as your own car. But please remember that you will continue to be responsible for the car (and all associated incidents) even when someone else is driving it. This excludes commercial usage of car (e.g., using it as a taxi, or sub-renting it), which is not allowed. Please refer to the agreement for terms of usage.

    Is there limit on Kms driven?

    Your Subscription comes with Mileage options of 10000/15000/20000/ 25000 Kms per annum, as accumulated Kms for the subscribed tenure. For any extra Kms driven beyond the accumulated limit, Rs. 5 per km + applicable taxes would be chargeable.

    Who will take care of the maintenance of car?

    ORIX will take care of the maintenance of the car provided there is no negligence in the usage of the car.

    Negligent driving includes:

    1. Minor driving.

    2. Overloading.

    3. Commercial usage.

    4. Drunk driving.

    5. Violating any traffic rule as per RTO.

    6. Driving beyond Indian geographical area.

    7. Not maintaining car as per standard PMS schedule.

    Maintenance of the vehicle will be done at MSIL authorized workshops and will be fitted with MGP only.

    What is included in maintenance?

    All maintenance which is part of regular wear and tear and anything arising out of non-negligent driving.

    What to do if the car breaks down or meets with an accident ?

    In case of an unfortunate event, please notify us immediately and we will guide you through the entire process. We will coordinate with roadside assistance and insurance. Unless unavoidable, please do not leave the place of the accident until proper support has arrived. You may be required to file/sign formality documents associated with the accident.

    What happens if I need to carry out repairs in a place which is outside the city I've subscribed to the car from?

    In such a case, you can have the car repaired at a manufacturer authorized workshop and pay the bills of repairs while making sure the bill is issued in the name of ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited. After which, you will need to submit the original invoice to our representative. We will verify the authenticity of invoice and repairs and if found in order, we will reimburse the cost incurred by you within 15 days of receipt of invoice.

    Will ORIX provide roadside assistance too?

    As a subscriber, you are provided with 2 roadside assistances in a year. Any more than that becomes chargeable on actuals. If unused, it will be carry forward to next year. Beyond this, you will be charged Rs 915 + taxes.

    How do I get reimbursed for roadside assistance?

    You will pay the dealer directly, and the dealer will generate an invoice in name of "ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited". You may reclaim the amount from ORIX after due submission of bills.

    Are the towing and roadside assistance charges included in case of accidents ?

    Car towing will be arranged by Maruti Suzuki Subscribe. For warranty repairs it will be free, and for accidental repairs it will be covered as per the insurance policy.

    What services are not covered for free by Roadside Assistance?

    As the subscriber, the following services are not covered under roadside assistance:

    i. Retrieval of key locked inside the car.

    ii. Tyre puncture.

    iii. Fuel arrangement and filling.

    iv. Jobs related to externally-fitted CNG/LPG kits. 

    v. Battery jump-start (if battery gets drained due to the subscriber's negligence).

    What am I suppose to do in case of Accident involving third party damage or bodily injury to third person or causing death of third person?

    Notify our Subscription partner ORIX within 24 hours of the accident with all details, and lodge a complaint/First Information Report with the nearest police station. In case of an accident involving damage to the car, or third party property damage, or bodily injury to a third person, you will have to provide our Subscription partner with these necessary details below and shall, if required, appear before the Court or any other authority.

    (a) Date, time, and place of accident

    (b) The license plate numbers of any other vehicles involved, their make and year, their identification number (serial number), and the insurance certificate's number (with name, address and phone number of the insurance agent).

    (c) The names, addresses, and driver's license numbers of the persons involved in the incident.

    (d) The name, address, and driver's license number of the owner of the vehicle (if he or she is not the driver).

    (e) The name, addresses, and phone numbers of witnesses, passengers, and any other involved persons.

    (f) Circumstances of the accident, describing immediate surrounding environment and the position of the car prior to the accident.

    (g) A police report is required regardless of liability or fault. You shall specify in your detailed written complaint to the police the actual facts only. You shall ensure that such complaint shall not contain any discrepancy, inconsistencies or distortions from actual facts as the same would be detrimental to a valid insurance or other claim by ORIX. Any loss occasioned to Orix due to an inconsistent or distorted complaint by you shall be borne by you.

    What happens in case the car gets stolen?

    You shall immediately notify us via email on ""customer.care@orixindia.com"" of the occurrence of theft of the car with details thereof and lodge a complaint/First Information Report with the nearest police station. Your liability incase of theft would be the difference between the Book value and insurance settlement amount or entire Book Value due to negligence.

    What condition do I need to return the car in?

    Normal wear and tear is acceptable. Anything over and above would be chargeable and ORIX/MSIL Dealer decision will be final.

    What is buyback product offering?

    Buyback product offering is a way to retain the car at the end of the subscribed tenure. The buyback price will be shared by the suscription partner basis the vehicle, tenure and usage opted by you.

    Would a new car be provided to me? And on whose name would the car be registered?

    All the cars available on Maruti Suzuki Subscribe are brand new. The subscribed car will be registered in your name and hypothecated to ORIX

    What tenure & mileage options available under buyback product?

    Maruti Suzuki Subscribe offers flexible subscription tenures of 12,24, 36,48 or 60 months and Mileage options for 10000 km/15000km/20000km/25000km per year.

    How buyback value product offering is different from use & return product offering ?

    When opted for Buyback product, Susbcriber retains the car by paying pre agreed buyback value at end of subscription period, as compared to Use and Return product where the Susbcriber surrenders the car.

    What all is included in the Subscription Fixed Buyback Price product offering during the tenure of Subscription period?

    With Maruti Suzuki Subscribe, Susbcriber pay a fixed monthly fee all-inclusive*:-

    - Vehicle usage cost

    - Road Tax & Registration

    - Insurance coverage for full tenure

    - Maintenance for all scheduled & unscheduled services, as well as accident repairs, excluding the ones which occur due to negligence & claims not approved by Insurance company.*

    - 2 Roadside Assistances per year

    *Inclusion and exclusion as per the as per the Subscription Agreement exectuted between ORIX and Subscriber

    Buyback product is suitable for which category of customer?

    Buyback product is suitable for subscribers who prefer to use the vehicle for a longer tenure.

    What all is Excluded in buyback product ?

    Susbcriber is required to pay Cost of Fuel, Driver charges ,Fastag recharges, parking charges, toll charges, PUCs, fines/Challans which are mandated by governing authorities and tyre punctures.*

    *any other cost not covered in the agreement.

    When do I have to pay buyback price and to whom?

    The Subscription rental is payable on 1st of every month. The monthly rental will start from the 1st of following month of the delivery of the car and future rentals is payable on 1st of every subsequent month. Proportionate rental will be charged from the day car is delivered till first of the following month. Rental payment will be made through ECS/PDC.

    The Subscribers has to pay the Buyback value to ORIX within 7 days prior to the completion of Subscription period.

    What if I don’t want to buy back the car and surrender the vehicle back, post completion of tenure?

    Post completion of Susbcription period the Susbcriber has to pay the Buyback value and retain the car.

    What are applicable foreclosure charges in case I wish to buyback the car

    In case of early termination of Susbcription, a pre-closure amount has to be paid by the user to buyback the car. This includes pre closure on the Book Value of the Susbcriber + 2 % penalty + Rentals in arrears + Taxes + residue Installments of Road Tax (if applicable) + Pro-rata recovery of Insurance premium+ extra km charges + damages

    What are applicable foreclosure charges if I want to return the car

    In case of early termination of Susbcription, difference between pre-closure amount and Market price of the car, has to be paid by the user as per the Subscription Agreement. The pre closure includes Book Value of the Susbcriber + 2 % penalty + Rentals in arrears + Taxes + residue Installments of Road Tax (if applicable) + Pro-rata recovery of Insurance premium+ extra km charges + damages -(less) Market Price of the vehicle

    Is extension of contracted tenure possible? If Yes, what will be the impact on rentals and buyback value?

    Yes. If you wish to extend the subscription period, please share a request 30 days prior to the ending of the initial subscription period. ORIX will ascertain the possibility of extension, and will confirm it to you within 15 days of the request. Upon extension, subscription charges will be revised accordingly. Total Susbcription period can not exceed 5 years.

    Is change of contracted km running possible? If Yes, what will be the impact on rentals and buyback value?

    No, the contracted mileage can not be changed during the Susbcription period.

    What are late payment charges applicable on monthly rental and on buyback price?

    For any delay after the due date, a penalty of 2% per month will be charged for the delayed period. The vehicle will be repossessed in case of any payment delay after 15 days from the due date. In such cases, any expenses incurred while returning the car will be borne by you.

    Is the buyback value fixed? Can it be customized as per customer requirement ?

    Yes, Buyback value is fixed i.e. 20% (Incl GST for respective vehicle model and is customizable as per requirement (T&C applied)

    Under what circumstances does buyback value may change?

    Any change in government mandate/tax regulations/ GST norms, shall result in change of the buyback value.

    In Whose name car will be registered on buying the car by paying buyback price post completion of tenure

    Post completion of the car shall continue to be registered in the name of the Subscriber post payment of Buyback value by the Susbcriber.

    Who will take car of RTO procedures like name transfer, removal of hypothecation and other procedures during buyback

    On receipt of buyback value from the Susbcriber, ORIX shall provide relevant documents required for tranfer. Susbcriber shall be responsible for completion of RTO procedure.

    What do I need to pay extra if I over-run the car beyond contracted mileage during the tenure, as car will be purchased by me at end of tenure

    For any extra kms driven beyond the accumulated limit, Rs. 3-5 per km (T&C applied) + applicable taxes would be chargeable. Please refer to the Policy Document (Customer Agreement) and T&Cs carefully to know more.

    Whom should I contact in case of vehicle services, insurance renewals, vehicle buyback procedure, contract foreclosure, road-side assistance and any other requirement regarding the vehicle subscribed?

    After delivery of the vehicle, the contact details of respective SPOC / customer care number for maintenance ,forelcousure related procedure, RSA and any other requirement is provided by ORIX.
