    How long does it take to receive the car after completing the booking process?

    The subscribed car delivery usually takes 20-25 days from the time of booking, subject to timely completion of documentation & verification and vehicle availability. You will be updated at all the stages of the process.

    How much do I need to pay for the Subscription ?

    All prices are displayed on the website and are inclusive of GST. Initially, you need to pay 1 month rental as refundable Security Deposit and 1st months rental in advance. Then pay the Subscription fee on a monthly basis in advance to continue your Subscription.

    Are there any offers that come with Maruti Suzuki Subscribe?

    Offers on Subscription cars are subject to change. Prices shown on the website are indicative. Actual Subscription prices will be as per the car price and consumer offers at the time of invoicing.

    How are operations managed during the Subscription period?

    The Subscription is operated in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki's Subscription partners. Car service, maintenance, insurance renewal & accidental repairs, Roadside assistance and Pickup n Drop services are provided through MSIL authorized dealers only.

    For how long can I subscribe to the car?

    Maruti Suzuki Subscribe offers flexible Subscription tenures of 12, 18, 24, 36 or 48 months.

    In whose name will the car be registered?

    The subscribed car will be registered in the name of Subscription partner. The registration type will be self-drive.

    What do you mean by Lock-in period

    Lock-in period refers to the fixed non-cancellation period, during which you are not permitted to cancel the Subscription. Lock-in period for 12, 18, 24,36 or 48 month tenure is 12 months.

    What are the charges for foreclosure?

    Foreclosure during Lock-in period:

    a) For surrender during lock in period :

    Cumulative Amount equal to Subscription amount set for remaining Lock in period at the rate of existing subscribed rental + Differential amount of the Subscription rental amount for Lock-in period and the existing subscribed rental

    b) For surrender post lock-in period :

    Amount Payable = Cumulative differential amount equal to Subscription rental amount set for one tenure shorter than the tenure selected for closure, for the period up-to Termination month.

    Can I get GST Input Tax Credit?

    You will get Subscription monthly invoices along with applicable taxes. And, based on GST law eligibility parameters, you may claim GST in your business.

    Program Details

    Can I extend my tenure?

    Yes. If you wish to extend the Subscription period, please share a request 30 days prior to the ending of the initial Subscription period. Our Subscription partner will ascertain the possibility of extension, and will confirm it to you within 15 days of the request. Upon extension, Subscription charges will be revised accordingly.

    What is included in the Subscription?

    Vehicle usage Cost, Road Tax, Vehicle registration, Insurance coverage, and maintenance for Annual Usage of 10000/15000/25000 km.

    Maintenance includes parts replacement, labor cost and consumables cost for all scheduled & unscheduled services, as well as accident repairs, one set of tires and battery, excluding the replacements which occur due to misuse & negligence.

    2 Roadside Assistances per year, and 2 car pick-up & drops for service repairs per year.

    Is buyback option available?

    Yes, if you wish to retain the car, buyback option is available at the end of the subscribed tenure. The buyback price will shared by the Subscription partner basis tenure, usage and market value assessment.

    Booking

    How do I get started with the Subscription ?

    You can start your Subscription online via the MSIL website. You need to submit Pan Card, Driving License and Address Proof to the dealership. Basis those, our Subscription partner will intimate to share the remaining documents (depending on your occupation). Once the remaining documents are submitted, Subscription partner will intimate on the credit approval. After the approval, you need to pay the Security Deposit, Advance rental, submit PDCs and set up SI/NACH/eNACH. The order for the car will be placed and it will be delivered within 20-25 days.

    How long will it take to get the car?

    The subscribed car delivery usually takes 20-25 days from the time of booking, subject to timely submission of documents, verification and availability of the car. You'll be kept informed at all stages in the case of any changes or unforeseen delays.

    What if I want to cancel the booking after paying the advance rental and security deposit?

    The same can be cancelled prior to the invoicing of the vehicle by the MSIL car dealer. You shall be required to pay an amount of Rs. 5000 and applicable taxes as charges for cancellation. Balance amount shall be refunded. Foreclosure charges shall be applicable for cancellation after registration of car.

    Do I need to be physically present for taking the delivery of the car?

    Yes, the person whose driver's license and ID proof has been provided while placing the booking, needs to be present for the key handover, along with original documents. A checklist needs to be signed at the time of taking delivery.

    Payments

    What are the various modes of payment which I can use for the monthly rentals?

    Monthly payments will be made as online auto-debit payment transactions. Both credit card and bank account auto-debit is possible.

    What do I need to pay to get the car?

    1 month rental as Security Deposit and 1 month rental as Advance Rental

    What do I need to pay while using the car?

    You will need to pay the rental on the scheduled date of every month in advance. As well as any charges that should be incurred due to misuse or negligent driving.

    When do I need to pay the monthly Subscription fee?

    Subscription Rent start date will be 1st day of the subsequent month from date of vehicle delivery

    Prorate rental will be charged from the ""Date of delivery"" to the ""1st of the subsequent month""

    How can the payment be made?

    Payment will be made through an online auto-debit mechanism from your bank account/credit card for the tenure of the Subscription. The auto-debit will get disabled once you return the car.

    What are the charges in case of damages?

    Comprehensive Insurance policy with Zero Dep (2 instances every year) shall cover you in case of damage. You shall only pay amount not covered by insurance co.

    What is negligent driving

    Any case where the insurance company rejects to pay for damages it believes has been caused by irresponsible driving: for e.g., drinking & driving, minors driving, driving without a valid driver's license at the time of accident, all as per the insurance policy.

    What are the charges in case of late payment?

    For any delay after the due date, a penalty at the interest rate of 2% per month on outstanding amount will be charged for the delayed period.

    What about the insurance claims & disallowance?

    Insurance claim filing charges and disallowed charges will be borne by you.

    Who will pay for tolls, parking, inter-state taxes, fines & challans?

    All toll, parking and interstate taxes, Fastag recharges, fines/challans, will be borne by you. Fastag for the vehicle will be procured by the service provider.

    Who will recharge Fastag?

    Fastag will be recharged by Subscription partner/subscriber based on the agreement. The Fastag usage will be invoiced & debited to you with GST on monthly basis if it is recharged by Subscription partner.

    Usage and Maintenance

    Can I share my car with someone and split costs?

    Yes, please treat it as your own car. But also remember that you will continue to be responsible for the car (and all associated incidents) even when someone else is driving it. This excludes commercial usage of the car (e.g., using it as a taxi, or sub-renting it), which is not allowed. Please refer to the agreement for terms of usage of the car.

    Is there a limit on kilometers driven?

    Your Subscription charges covers annual usage of 10000/15000Km/25000/year, whichever you choose, as accumulated Kms for the entire tenure subscribed. Any extra Kms driven beyond the accumulated Kms, are chargeable as per agreement.

    Who will take care of the maintenance of the car?

    Our Subscription partner will take care of the maintenance, which will be done at MSIL authorized workshops except in cases of misuse and negligent driving, which includes:

    1. A minor driving the car.

    2. Overloading & racing with the car.

    3. Commercial usage of the car.

    4. Drunk driving.

    5. Violating any traffic rules as per RTO.

    6. Driving beyond the Indian geographical area.

    7. Not maintaining car as per standard PMS schedule.

    8. Modification of car systems.

    What is included in maintenance?

    Complete maintenance (scheduled + un-scheduled+ insurance repairs), including regular wear and tear. Not included are repairs arising out of misuse and negligent driving.

    Will pick and drop of the car be provided for periodic servicing?

    2 pick and drops are provided every year.

    What happens if the car breaks down or meets with an accident?

    In case of an unfortunate event, please notify us immediately and we will guide you through the entire process. We will coordinate with roadside assistance and insurance. Unless unavoidable, please do not leave the place of the accident until proper support has arrived. You may be required to file/sign formality documents associated with the accident.

    What happens if I need to carry out repairs in a place which is outside the city I've subscribed to the car from?

    In such a case, please inform and obtain consent in writing from our subscription partner to get the vehicle repaired at an MSIL authorized workshop only. You can cover the cost initially, ensuring that the bill is issued in the name of our subscription partner. Details of invoice and repairs will be verified later, based on which subscription partner will reimburse the cost incurred within 10 days of receipt of tax invoice.

    Will the Subscription partner provide roadside assistance as well

    As a subscriber, you are provided with 2 instances of roadside assistance in a year. Any more than that becomes chargeable on actuals.

    How do I get reimbursed for roadside assistance?

    You will pay the dealer directly, and the dealer will generate an invoice in name of our Subscription partner. You can then reclaim the amount from our subscription partner for a maximum amount of Rs. 660/- at each instance, after submission of bills within 10 days. This is considering that the complementary RSA is not utilized.

    Are towing and roadside assistance charges included in case of accidents?

    Car towing will be arranged by Maruti Suzuki Subscribe. For warranty repairs it will be free, and for accidental repairs it will be covered as per the insurance policy.

    What services are not covered for free by roadside assistance?

    As the subscriber, the following services will be charged to you:

    i. Retrieval of key locked inside the car.

    ii. Tyre puncture.

    iii. Fuel arrangement and filling.

    iv. Jobs related to externally-fitted CNG/LPG kits.

    v. Battery jump-start (If battery is drained due to the subscriber's negligence).

    What should I do in the case of accidents involving third party damage, or bodily injury to a third person, or causing the death of a third person?

    Notify our Subscription partner within 24 hours of the accident with all the details, and lodge a complaint/First Information Report with the nearest police station. In case of an accident involving damage to the car, or third party property damage, or bodily injury to a third person, you will have to provide our Subscription partner with these necessary details below and shall, if required, appear before the Court or any other authority.

    (a) Date, time, and place of accident

    (b) The license plate numbers of any other vehicles involved, their make and year, their identification number (serial number), and the insurance certificate's number (with name, address and phone number of the insurance agent).

    (c) The names, addresses, and driver's license numbers of the persons involved in the incident.

    (d) The name, address, and driver's license number of the owner of the vehicle (if he or she is not the driver).

    (e) The name, addresses, and phone numbers of witnesses, passengers, and any other involved persons.

    (f) Circumstances of the accident, describing immediate surrounding environment and the position of the car prior to the accident.

    (g) A police report is required regardless of liability or fault. You shall specify in your detailed written complaint to the police the actual facts only. You shall ensure that such complaint shall not contain any discrepancy, inconsistencies or distortions from actual facts as the same would be detrimental to a valid insurance or other claim by. Any loss occasioned to the company due to an inconsistent or distorted complaint by you shall be borne by you.

    What happens in case the car gets stolen?

    You should immediately notify Maruti Subscribe via email on the ID shared in the Subscription agreement, about the theft of the car with details, and lodge a complaint/First Information Report with the nearest police station. Your liability in case of theft would be the difference between the IDV and the insurance settlement amount, or the entire Book Value due to negligence.

    What condition do I need to return the car in?

    Normal wear and tear is acceptable. Any damage due to misuse or negligent driving will be chargeable.
