Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) has announced to recall 26 Super Carry vehicles manufactured between 17th Feb 2026 and 21st Feb 2026. It is suspected that there is a possible defect in Front Driver Seat Adjuster Assembly (“Parts”), which in a rare case, may cause unintended sliding of the Seat. Affected vehicle owners will be contacted by Maruti Suzuki authorized dealer workshops for inspection and replacement of the affected Parts, free of cost. Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) will be undertaking a Service Campaign for 144 units of Dzire, manufactured from 8th August 2024 to 13th August 2024. It is suspected that some of these vehicles were fitted with muffler (“Part”) bearing incorrect serial number marking. The Service Campaign is being undertaken to inspect and if required, replace it with a Part having the correct marking. This does not have any impact on the vehicle’s functioning. The respective vehicle owners will receive communication from Maruti Suzuki authorized dealer service workshops for the inspection and replacement of the Part. The inspection and replacement of the Part (if any) will be done free of cost.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) has announced to recall 2,555 Alto K10 vehicles wherein it is suspected that there is a possible defect in Steering Gear Box Assembly (“Part”). The said defect, in a rare case may affect the vehicle steerability. Out of abundant caution, customers of the affected vehicles are advised not to drive or use the vehicle till the Part is replaced. Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) has announced to recall 11,851 units of Baleno and 4,190 units of WagonR manufactured between 30th Jul 2019 and 1st Nov 2019. It is suspected that there is a possible defect in Fuel Pump Motor (“Part”), which in a rare case may lead to engine stalling or engine starting issue. Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) has announced to recall 87,599 vehicles (S-Presso & Eeco) manufactured between 05 July 2021 and 15 Feb 2023. Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) will be undertaking a service campaign for 676 vehicles (Ertiga and XL6), manufactured between 24th Jun 2022 and 7th Jul 2022. It is suspected that there may be a possible issue in the ‘front Driveshaft’ of these affected vehicles, which in a rare case may generate a peculiar noise while turning the vehicle but does not impact the functioning. Considering customer comfort and convenience, Maruti Suzuki has decided to inspect and replace the front Driveshaft, if required, free of cost. Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced to recall a total of 17,362 vehicles manufactured between December 8th 2022 and January 12th 2023. The affected models are Alto K10, S-Presso, Eeco, Brezza, Baleno and Grand Vitara. The recall is being undertaken to inspect and replace Airbag Controller (“affected part”), free of cost, if required in these vehicles. It is suspected that there is a possible defect in affected part, which in rare case might result in non-deployment of the airbags and seat belt pretensioners, in the event of a vehicle crash. New Delhi, October 29, 2018: Maruti Suzuki India Limited will proactively undertake a “Service Campaign” to inspect and replace the Speedometer assembly and Owner’s manual in Zeta and Alpha variants of Ciaz Diesel cars. Maruti Suzuki has decided to undertake this “Service Campaign”, in the interest of customers. This is not a “Recall” as there is no safety concern involved. New Delhi, August 23, 2019: Maruti Suzuki India Limited today announced to proactively and voluntarily undertake a recall campaign for certain WagonR (1 litre) vehicles manufactured between 15th November 2018 and 12th August 2019. Keeping in mind customer safety and as a responsible corporate, Maruti Suzuki India Limited today announced to proactively and voluntarily undertake a recall for certain petrol Smart Hybrid (SHVS) variants of Ciaz, Ertiga and XL6 vehicles manufactured between 1st January 2019 to 21st November 2019. Recall campaigns are undertaken globally to rectify faults that may be potential safety defects. The Company will inspect 63,493 vehicles of petrol SHVS of Ciaz, Ertiga and XL6 for a possible issue with the Motor Generator Unit (MGU). A possible defect may have occurred in the MGU during manufacturing by an overseas global part supplier. In the interest of its customers, Maruti Suzuki has decided to proactively recall the vehicles for inspection and those found OK will be released immediately. Vehicles requiring replacement of faulty part will be retained for part replacement free of cost. Keeping in view customer convenience, Maruti Suzuki dealers may make alternate mobility arrangements in such cases, if required. Maruti Suzuki India Limited has proactively announced to voluntarily undertake a recall for WagonR (1 Litre) manufactured between November 15th 2018 and October 15th 2019 and Baleno (Petrol) manufactured between January 8th 2019 and November 4th 2019. The recall will cover 134,885 vehicles of both these models. The Company will inspect 56,663 units of WagonR and 78,222 units of Baleno for a possible issue with the Fuel Pump. Maruti Suzuki India Limited has proactively announced to voluntarily undertake a recall for Eeco vehicles manufactured between November 4th 2019 and February 25th 2020, and few Eeco vehicles in which headlamp has been replaced in the field. The Company will inspect 40,453 units of Eeco for a possible issue of standard symbol missing on the head lamp. Any action, if required, shall be undertaken free of cost. As per the Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989, Automotive Industry Standard-137 Part-3rd of standard (“Regulation”) which came into effect for all the BS6 Phase-II vehicles sold after 1st of April 2023, it has been made mandatory for all car manufacturers in India to check the In-use performance ratio (IUPR) of few customers owned BS VI Phase-II vehicles. It’s a Government of India (“GOI”) initiative for green environment wherein all car manufacturers are required to pick few customer’s running vehicles for verification of in-use performance ratio (IUPR). To fulfill this requirement, Maruti Suzuki India Limited authorized dealership will collect vehicle data using SDT (Suzuki Diagnostic Tool) either at dealership or at customer place. Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) has announced to proactively and voluntarily recall 19,731 vehicles of its EECO model. The recall is being undertaken to inspect and rectify ‘incorrect marking of wheel rim size’, if any, on the wheel in some of these vehicles. In a routine inspection Maruti Suzuki found that in some units of EECO, manufactured between 19th July 2021 and 5th October 2021, the wheel rim size was incorrectly marked. This issue has no implication on the performance, safety or environment.
