Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming New Brezza receives 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating
- The model has received 5-star safety rating in both Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and Child Occupant Protection (COP) under Bharat NCAP
- The certification marks Maruti Suzuki’s fifth consecutive 5-star rating under Bharat NCAP
- New Brezza will be equipped with advanced safety features such as 6 airbags as standard across all its variants, Electronic Stability Program®(ESP®) with Hill Hold Assist, Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Parking Sensors, Emergency Stop Signal, Safe Exit Warning and more
New Delhi : Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) has received 5-star safety rating in both Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and Child Occupant Protection (COP)for its upcoming New Brezza, under the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP). The model is slated to launch on 24th July 2026.
The New Brezza strengthens the Company’s robust 5-star Bharat NCAP-rated vehicle portfolio, alongside the Dzire, VICTORIS, Invicto and the e VITARA. The model is equipped with a wide range of new active safety features including Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Parking Sensors, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Emergency Stop Signal, Safe Exit Warning, amongst others. Additionally, as part of the ARENA Safety Shield, the New Brezza comes with 6 airbags as standard across all its variants, Electronic Stability Program® (ESP ®) with Hill Hold Assist, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.

As customer expectations evolve, we remain committed to making advanced safety accessible across every segment, from entry-level models like Alto K10 and Celerio, to SUVs such as the New Brezza, VICTORIS, Jimny and FRONX.”
