Maruti Suzuki to start deliveries of Vitara Brezza from March 25th
20,000 bookings within first fortnight of launch
New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited, India’s leading passenger vehicle maker, today announced that it will start deliveries of its newly launched compact urban SUV, Vitara Brezza, to customers, from 25th March 2016. The vehicles will be retailed from the Company’s over 1,800 sales outlets spread across India.
Announcing the start of retail sales, Mr. R S Kalsi, Executive Director (M&S) shared, “We are delighted at customers’ response to Vitara Brezza. They have appreciated it for its sporty and muscular design and the combination of features offered at multiple trim levels. Our endeavor now is to deliver these cars quickly so that customers can enjoy their Vitara Brezza.”
Unveiled at Auto Expo 2016, Vitara Brezza was formally launched on 8th March 2016. It is available in 7 variants including a fully loaded, top-end variant with dual tone colour scheme.
Within the first fortnight of its launch, the Vitara Brezza has received around 70,000 customer enquiries and 20,000 bookings.
Vitara Brezza marks Maruti Suzuki’s entry into the popular compact SUV segment in India. It brings the muscle, glamour and contemporary style that were so far missing in this segment. Class leading features include dual colour scheme, a unique floating roof, versatile and spacious interiors.
Vitara Brezza is future ready for safety regulations. It is the first car in the country to be certified for offset and side impact crash tests which will be enforced in India in 2017.
Vitara Brezza is offered with the acclaimed DDiS 200 engine and uses multiple innovative technologies like intelligent battery management. Vitara Brezza offers outstanding fuel efficiency of 24.3 km per litre, making it the highest in the SUV category and 10-12% superior to other SUVs.
