New Delhi: Car market leader Maruti Udyog Limited sold 60,229 vehicles in the domestic market in August 2007.

The company had sold 48,259 vehicles in the domestic market in August 2006.

In all, Maruti Udyog Limited sold 65,968 vehicles in August 2007. This includes 5,739 units of exports.

Maruti’s volume in the domestic A2 segment went up by 28.6 per cent, in the A3 segment grew by 70.6 per cent and in C segment grew by 24.5 per cent during the month compared to sales in August 2006.
