New Delhi: Car market leader Maruti Udyog Limited (MUL) registered Total Income (Net of Excise) of Rs 41,540.7 million during April-June 2007, a growth of 27.08 per cent compared to the same period of the previous year.

Net profit during April-June 2007 stood at Rs 4996 million, up 35.18 per cent over the same period last fiscal.

The Board of Directors approved the Q1 financial results for April-June 2007 at a meeting held today.

During the quarter April-June 2007, the Company’s sales in the domestic market, was 160,604 units, a growth of 17.1 per cent over the corresponding period last year. Total sales, including exports, during the April-June 2007 period was 169,669 units, up 17.1 per cent over April-June 2006.
