Terms and Conditions Smart EMI

The following terms and conditions apply to Smart equated monthly instalment ("Smart EMI") transactions made using an eligible credit card issued by a bank and using EMI facility as a payment option

  1. The Smart EMI facility is being offered to the customers who make a purchase transaction on https://www.marutisuzuki.com/genuine-accessories using an eligible credit card issued by any bank using EMI facility, only if available on the website.
  2. The Smart EMI facility is funded by participating Dealers and is made available above certain Cart Value, as determined from time to time.
  3. The Smart EMI payment option can be availed using the credit card of any bank on https://www.marutisuzuki.com/genuine-accessories and is not available on purchases made using net banking or any other payment mode.
  4. The Smart EMI payment option enables users to purchase products through EMI. Interest amount to be paid by the customer along with monthly EMI basis selected bank and EMI tenure.
  5. The bank charges annual interest rates according to the reducing monthly balance. In the monthly reducing cycle, the principal is reduced with every EMI and the interest is calculated on the outstanding balance.
  6. The participating dealers of Maruti Suzuki India Limited will provide discount upfront equivalent to the interest charged by the banks to undertake the purchase transactions on EMI.
  7. The banks issuing the credit cards reserve the right to charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) or other applicable taxes on the purchase transactions undertaken on EMI which will be over and above the product price and to be borne by the customer.
  8. Smart EMI will be calculated only on net payable amount at the time of checkout. Smart EMI option is applicable to select dealers only, basis discretion of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.
  9. Selected banks may charge processing fee wherever applicable. GST to be paid extra on processing charges, as per bank regulations. This GST amount will not be included in the EMI discount and will be borne by the customer.
  10. The EMI facility is made available to the customers by and in the sole discretion of the banks issuing the credit cards. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd will not be liable for any claims on account of availability or non-availability of EMI facility.
  11. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd does not charge any processing fee for availing Smart EMI. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is not responsible for interest charged by bank and cannot refund the interest amount in case of cancellation, refund or pre-closure. Please check with your respective bank for their Policy on Cancellation, Refund or Pre-Closure. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd shall not be liable for any claims on account of the same.
  12. In case of failure of timely payment of EMI, there may be additional interests/penalty which may be levied by the bank which may be higher than the discount offered under the Smart EMI option. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd shall not be liable for any claims on account of the same.
  13. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd reserves the right to stop Smart EMI payment option at any time without prior notice and without any liability.
  14. Maruti Suzuki India Limited shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately.
  15. No waiver of any rights by Maruti Suzuki India Limited will be taken as a waiver of any other rights it may have.
  16. The invalidity or unenforceability for any reason of any part of these Terms & Conditions shall not prejudice or affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining parts and each part of these Terms & Conditions is always distinct and severable from the rest of the Terms & Conditions.
  17. The customer shall indemnify and keep Maruti Suzuki India Limited indemnified against any claims, demands, actions and proceedings of whatsoever nature which may be brought, commenced or prosecuted against Maruti Suzuki India Limited by reasons of or arising out of the disputes relating towards the prize winner and towards the prize gratification offered by Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
  18. The participating dealers of Maruti Suzuki India Limited shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to provide Smart EMI option to customers.
  19. Smart EMI option to be limited only to products available on https://www.marutisuzuki.com/genuine-accessories website at a particular instant. Any other product or service will not be included in Smart EMI option for the customer
