Maruti Suzuki dedicates its 1000th sales outlet to its customers

Company targets to double its sales network by 2015
Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India Limited unveiled its 1000th showroom 'Comet Motors' here today. It carries forward the company's philosophy of spreading the countrywide network to reach out to more and more customers in tier-II, tier-III cities.

The 1000th showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Shinzo Nakanishi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India, in the presence of, Mr. Mayank Pareek, Managing Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki and Mr. Jignesh Mehta, CEO, Comet Motors.

Dedicating the 1000th outlet to its customers, Mr. Shinzo Nakanishi, said, "I am happy to dedicate this showroom to our customers. 1000th outlet is an important milestone for us and for the Automobile industry. It is not just a number but it reaffirms our faith in the India growth story. It demonstrates our efforts and endeavours to reach out customers."

On future expansion, he added, "Network expansion is strategic to our business and we would continue to focus on it. We target to double our sales network in next five years, in line with the company's sales plan."

Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki continues to enhance the customer experience through its sales outlets and targets to take it to the next level. In this endeavour, the company has undertaken a unique initiative of upgrading its three year old showrooms under project 'Nav Nirman'. The objective of 'Nav Nirman' is to provide customers uniform buying experience across the country.
