While we continue to build cars for every dream, our machines are tearing through the toughest of the terrains around the nation. We at, Maruti began the promotion of Motorsports long before it entered the DNA of all the racers.
We nurtured and developed the sport, and our commitment reflects in our signature rallies – the iconic Raid De-Himalaya, the roaring Desert Strom and the master of adrenaline rush, Dakshin Dare.
The rallies are immensely popular as they attract young Indians – amateurs and professionals, signing up to get a taste of the war between machine and nature with a Maruti Suzuki car. Just like the temperature during the race, the numbers are rising every year. There are also active participants in the ‘All Women’ and ‘Husband-Wife’ teams. The rallies test the Maruti Suzuki cars, the skills of the driver, performance and reliability. We feed the learning back for designing new models and upgrades. The results are the proof that year on year we come out with flying colours on every parameter. While many believe that rallies are out of bounds of the urban folks, we bring to them the race with our city based-Autocross, Treasure Hunts and Women’s Fun Drive. It’s all about living in the moment and yet driving safely.
