New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited leader in passenger vehicles sold a total of 117,451 units in February 2016. This includes 108,115 units in the domestic market and 9,336 units in exports.
During the month, the reservation agitation had disrupted component supplies, causing a temporary suspension of production by the Company. Total production loss due to this was over 10,000 units. Despite that, the Company was able to achieve marginal growth in domestic sales.
The Company had sold a total of 118,551 units in February 2015.
