New Delhi: Car market leader Maruti Udyog Limited sold 50,904 vehicles in the domestic market in May 2006.

The company had sold 40,006 vehicles in the domestic market in May 2005.

In all, Maruti Udyog Limited sold 53,396 vehicles in May 2006. This includes 2,492 units of exports.

Maruti¿s volume in the domestic A2 segment grew by 38.56 per cent, in A3 by 9.93 per cent and in A1 segments by 10.25 per cent during the month compared to sales in May 2005.
