  Monthly Sales - January 2008

Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 68,107 vehicles in January 2008. This includes 4,648 export units.

The company had sold 65,341 units in January 2007. Domestic sales in January 2007 was 62,248 nos.

Maruti's volume in the domestic A2 segment went up by 3 per cent, while in A3 segment the domestic volume grew by 12 per cent, compared to January 2007. In C segment the sales grew by 17 per cent during the month compared to sales in January 2007.
