Set amidst the Kullu valley in the Himalayan ranges, with the Beas river running close by, this destination offers a heady mix of scenic beauty and a world of adventure. Being 2050 meters, the climate ranges from chill to cold in winter.

Interesting spots to see nearby are the Rahalla falls which is 16 km from Manali town. The Rohtang pass situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level, is the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. This spot is worth capturing in your cameras. It offers a wonderful view of the surroundings mountainside with its snow capped peaks and glaciers. However it is open only for four months in a year. The Solang Valley situated 13 kms from Manali, also offers spectacular views of the snow-clad mountains and the glaciers all around. It is the venue for paragliding and skiing courses. Rani Nala which is 46 km from Manali, it is the glacier point where snow is available throughout the year. Marrhi, 35 km from Manali, is famous for its natural beauty.
