It is regarded as one of the finest beaches on the eastern coast.
You can find the calmer facet of the Bay of Bengal here. The other
beaches nearby are the Baleswar and Balighai beach. Kurum
which is eight kilometeres away, is known for the excavations relating
to Buddhist architecture.
