Indulge in a bit of
history in Udaipur - The kingdom of Mewar. With legends of bravery
associated with it, Udaipur is the birth place of Maharana Pratap
whose valiant attacks against the Mughals is well known. Interestingly
Udaipur is the only place which the Mughals never occupied.
Udaipur is a fascinating blend of nature on one side and architectural
splendour on the other. Surrounded by the majestic Aravali Mountains
and situated on the banks of the picturesque Pichola Lake, Udaipur
is a nature lover's paradise as much as it is seeped in history.
