Ubbalamadugu or Tada Falls as it is commonly known as is a beautiful waterfall, located in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The falls are located in a forest called the Kaambakam forest which is also known as Sidduliah Kona. Situated at a height of 6045 ft, to reach the actual waterfall requires trekking which is what makes this an interesting trekking destination.
Tada falls is situated near the village of Varadayyapalem. The path to the falls after the village of 'Varadayya palem' is very narrow with lot of rubble and rocks. Despite the bad roads leading to Tada and the extremely slow pace at which vehicles are required to move, the final destination to the falls make it well worth the efforts.
The pristine beauty of this natural falls has still been retained as it is a relatively lesser known tourist destination. The cool waters of the falls, the lush greenery around and the blue skies above make Tada an extremely scenic spot. |

There is a temple here known as Sidduliah Kona, a popular temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. People throng this temple during the festival of Maha Shivarathri .
The best time to visit Tada would be after the rainy season. The rains can make the path extremely difficult to follow. |
