Along the Konkan Coast - Kashid |
| |
| |
Situated on the shores of the Arabian Sea, Kashid is one of the most beautiful stretches on the Konkan region. The beach is absolutely stunning with Casuarina groves, green mountains, paddy fields and rivulets acting as a backdrop around the seashore. With the azure blue sky above, and the dazzling stretch of long white sand ahead Kashid is a magnificent amalgamation of all the wonders of nature.
This place is a paradise for surfers. The beach is of course a major reason that people come to visit Kashid, but there are plenty of other things to do as well. In fact the road access is very good. The drive down from Mumbai or Pune to Kashid is itself a wonderful experience. |

From an obscure destination Kashid has come a long way to becoming a very popular destination in Pune. It is quite interesting to note that this beach is not yet explored completely. Kashid's unspoiled natural splendor is an added advantage. |
