Incumbent will be responsible for design, development and testing or Clutch/ Gear and related components. Should have understanding of transmission sub-systems- gearbox, gear shift mechanism, synchromesh system (synchronizer rings), clutch, clutch cable, gear shift lever assembly
Designing of gear shift linkages and gear-box parts
Synchronizer ring designing
Clutch designing
Lay outing of clutch cable and gear shift cables
Analysis of market problem/ failure pertaining to gear-box, gear shifting, clutch and clutch release system

Coordinate sending of trial vehicles to SMC, Japan for testing and evaluation., and benchmarking & project management for minor changes or new product. |
